The Jim Boyd Band is from Inchelium on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington, State.

Led by songwriter Jim Boyd on guitars and vocals, the band also features Alfonso Kolb on the drums and background vocals, and Eric Arnold on the bass.

Jim BoydJim Boyd (Colville tribal member) is from the Colville Indian reservation and is the songwriter, guitar player and lead vocalist.

Jim has performed in several original groups including XIT, Greywolf, and Winterhawk. He has shared the stage with groups from Motley Crue to Bonnie Raitt and now has six full-length CDs out on his own Thunderwolf Records label. He has been nominated for several Native American Music Awards (NAMMYS), where he received 2002's Record Of The Year for his alterNATIVES release.

Jim's music has been included in movies such as the Miramax motion picture SMOKE SIGNALS, Fallsaparts FANCYDANCING, and 2207 Productions TRUST ME.


Drummer Alfonso Kolb (San Luiseņo) is originally from the Rincon Indian Reservation in southern California. Kolb has also performed in original groups XIT, Greywolf, and Winterhawk and currently resides on the Colville Indian Reservation. He has performed on several of Boyd's recordings and has performed with Boyd for many years.   Alfonso Kolb

 

Rich Paddock

 

 

Marty Meisner is the bass player for Kyo-T. He was born in Seattle but has spent most of his life in Spokane, Washington. Marty was an Epic recording artist in The Mayfield Four, touring extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has performed rock and jazz genres in his 19 years as a bass player.
